No/No such thing as when you die you can't have an afterlife.

Re: are you afraid of dying / the afterlife?
Yes. I am afraid of dying. Surely it's better to be alive than dead?

The concept of an afterlife is quite childish really.

I'm with you but, let's be totally honest, you cannot stand there and say that 100% for sure can you?

No one actually really, really knows for sure do they?

Re: are you afraid of dying / the afterlife?
Of course I'm afraid of dying. Death is real. I don't like the idea of not existing, and the process of ceasing to be can be pretty gruesome.

No fear of the afterlife, as it isn't real.

What? When in constant agony? There are untold things worse than dying.
I hope there is an afterlife, I'll give this God fella a ruddy good telling off.

Not afraid of death but I am of dying, I believe there is an afterlife as in Nature there is a continuous cycle but what form of afterlife there is, I have no idea

Re: are you afraid of dying / the afterlife?
don't believe in any kind of afterlife, but have absolutely no fear whatsoever of dying.

Deaths about the only thing in life I'm looking forward too.

Hope the worms and maggots enjoy their feast as well, as I'm an atheist and will just be thrown in a ditch with a humanist funeral as I have requested.

Anyone who believes in the afterlife or god is a fool!!

Re: are you afraid of dying / the afterlife?
I can't get my head around the idea that there is nothing once we die.

I don't think the human brain has the capacity to put it into thought.

What happens to the soul, the spirit, the being?

There's far more to us than just flesh and bone.

The body ages and dies, I can take that, but I don't believe the soul goes along with it.

Don't ask me what happens, I just think there's more.

Calling someone a fool for thinking along these lines is a bit ridiculous really.

Come back to me when you have all the answers.

I am more afraid of going past around 65 years old with no NHS, a tory government and living in what will then be practically a Muslim country
